What is International Day of Friendship?
The International Day of Friendship is a global event that celebrates “the idea that friendship between peoples, countries, cultures and individuals can inspire peace efforts and build bridges between communities”. The UN General Assembly proclaimed in 2011 that it would be celebrated on every 30 th July, and every year since it has been a movement that promotes solidarity and togetherness between everyone from neighbours to nations.
The Importance of Community
Here at Yarm Distillery, we understand the importance of getting together and enjoying one another’s company — we love to hear feedback about our products being enjoyed at celebrations, events, and even simple get-togethers between friends.
